July 4th, Elko Speedway
For our nation’s 250th anniversary, we decided to celebrate our favorite way by racing! We were supposed to have double features, but Mother Nature had other plans. All classes participated in at least one feature race before the rain arrived. Elko had a great car count for the holiday. They had 23 legend cars and 18 bandolero cars show up to race. We had four drivers in their Bandolero cars: Roman Crowe, Easton Chaffee, Kam Martinez, and Chris Flynn. We also had two drivers in their Legend cars: Danny Mann and Chris Flynn. Bando qualifying for our team: Roman P3, Chris P4, Kam P14, Easton P15. Bando B Feature #1: Kam started P1 and finished P1 with a transfer spot. Easton started P2 and finished P3. Bando B Feature #2: Kam started P2 and finished P1. Easton would start P3 and finish P2. Both drivers earned a transfer spot. Bando A Feature #1: Chris started P4 and finished P3. Roman started P5 and finished P2. Kam started P14 and finished P14. Legend, qualifying for our team: Danny P12 and Chris P16. Legend A feature: Danny started P12 and finished P12. Chris started P16 and finished P16.
July 10th, Tomah-Sparta Speedway
We finally made it back to Tomah-Sparta Speedway. Mother Nature didn’t get in our way. Because of recently canceled race days, they decided to make it a double feature to make up some races. The track had 10 total bandoleros show up. We had two drivers with our team, Kam Martinez and Chris Flynn. In Bando qualifying, Kam qualified P8, and Chris qualified P2. Bando Afeature #1: Chris started P7 and finished P1. Kam started P1 and finished P7. Bando Afeature #2: Chris started P8 and finished P1. Kam started P2 and finished P5.
